  • When performing in-person inspections in occupied spaces, particularly in areas where it may be difficult to maintain six feet of social distancing, City inspectors may request the area be cleared of occupants and construction personnel. This will provide a safe environment for all concerned.
  • Updated: City inspectors will perform Live Remote Inspections (LRI) for all residential HVAC change-out inspections in existing homes, duplexes, townhouse, apartment units, and condo units. LRIs involve the permit holder using either a smart phone or another hand-held device to show and demonstrate code compliance without requiring an inspector to be physically present at the project.
  • Updated: If LRIs are not feasible or cannot be completed, an inspector will request the inspection be re-scheduled for a later date.
