• Perquimans educators say they're 'truly grateful' for new school (meigsindypress.com) — Families in Hertford are sending grades 3–8 students to the new Perquimans Intermediate School, which replaces Hertford Grammar and Perquimans Middle under one modern, secure roof. Built with $40 million in lottery-funded grants, the campus opened this August with a ribbon-cutting and open house, and local educators say the upgraded technology and facilities are a game-changer for Perquimans County students.
