• Indian Trail plans major street upgrades to create central district (newsbreak.com) — Indian Trail has approved funding to kick off major street upgrades along Indian Trail Road that will create a true downtown district with wider sidewalks, better intersections, and a new roundabout. Town leaders say the 2025–2029 project will boost walkability, attract shops and restaurants, and support new housing, giving residents a central place to gather and do business.
