• Former Marine sentenced for infant's death (jdnews.com) — A former Marine has been sentenced to 30–38 years in prison for the 2022 death of his 4‑month‑old child in Jacksonville. Jacksonville police and NCIS led the investigation after officers found the infant unresponsive at a Zach Circle home, and an autopsy later revealed severe non‑accidental injuries, leading to second‑degree murder and child abuse convictions.
