• Sanitation Grades ~ August (lincolntimesnews.com) — Health inspectors gave nearly all Lincolnton restaurants and school cafeterias top A grades in August, including perfect scores for Lincolnton High School, Lincoln Charter School, and several popular grocery delis. A few spots dipped slightly below 100 but still earned solid A ratings, giving residents a clear snapshot of how clean their favorite local kitchens are right now.
• 'No Day But Today' (lincolntimesnews.com) — Lincolnton theatergoers just enjoyed a special run of "Rent" at LTG, highlighted by a visit from original Broadway "Angel" Wilson Jermaine Heredia and a standout local performance by Thomas Tillery in the same role. The production drew big reactions from Timken Performance Hall audiences and showcased local talent under experienced regional direction and choreography.
• Lincoln County pregnancy center marks 25 years, dedicates new ultrasound machine • Biblical Recorder (brnow.org) — In Lincolnton, the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Lincoln County just celebrated 25 years by dedicating a new, clearer ultrasound machine that staff say is already impacting conversations with local mothers. Community and Baptist leaders gathered at the longtime Lincolnton facility to pray, mark the milestone, and kick off the center's "Laps for Life" fundraising walk supporting its free services.
