Armed Robber’s Photo Released By Charlotte Police
Charlotte police are circulating a photo of a man they say robbed a Super 8 Motel early Friday morning. Have you seen him?
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte police are on the hunt for a man they say walked into the Super 8 Charlotte University motel Friday morning and asked to exchange a counterfeit $100 bill. When the victim behind the counter refused, the man pulled the cash drawer out of her hands.
The crime occurred shortly after 5:15 a.m. Nov. 10 at the motel located at 5100 Equipment Drive, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
CMPD describes the armed robbery suspect as a black male, about 6-foot, three-inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans.
