Charlotte Police Search For Man Accused Of Robbery
Charles Allan Penninger, who was awaiting trial for robbery and breaking and entering, cut off his electronic monitor Thursday.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A suspect awaiting trial for robbery and felony breaking and entering is now on the run after he cut off his electronic monitoring device Monday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said.
Charles Allan Penninger, 37, was court ordered to wear the device as a condition of his pre-trial release, CMPD said. He was last known to be in north Charlotte, near 8101 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road.
According to CMPD, Penninger is now wanted damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device in addition to common law robbery, felony breaking and entering, and felony conspiracy.

CMPD asks that anyone with information about his location contact the police department’s electronic monitoring unit at 704-432-8888, option #3, or 911.
