CMPD Asks For Help Finding Armed Robber

Charlotte police are asking for help finding a man they say robbed an east Charlotte restaurant with a handgun Saturday.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte police are asking for help finding a man they say walked into an east Charlotte restaurant with a handgun Saturday and demanded money.

The Sept. 2 armed robbery occurred at the Fish House located at 6040 The Plaza in Charlotte. The suspect, who fled the scene on foot, is described by police as a black man with an average build. He is shown in surveillance images to be wearing a dark grey hoodie with stripes on the shoulders, black pants and tennis shoes.
