Police Search For North Charlotte Drive-By Shooter
Police are looking for a silver Honda they say belongs to a suspected gunman who shot into another vehicle on Shamrock Drive.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the public’s help in locating a silver Honda they say they believe belongs to a suspected gunman who drove alongside another vehicle on Shamrock Drive Friday and opened fire.
The June 8 shooting in the 3500 block of Shamrock Drive occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m., according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. The victim, who CMPD has identified as Luis Ricardo Hernandez-Sesate, was taken to an area hospital where he remains with non-life threatening injuries.
“According to several witnesses who were interviewed, the victim and the suspect vehicles were driving slowly side-by-side on Shamrock Drive when the suspect fired multiple times at the victim’s vehicle,” a CMPD report said.

CMPD detectives released a photo of the suspected vehicle involved in the shooting and say it is described as a silver Honda with a sunroof and may possibly have a damaged or missing passenger side mirror.
