Suspect Wanted On Felony Assault Charge Now On The Run: CMPD
Police are asking for the community's help locating Tony Greaves, who cut off his electronic monitor Monday in east Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a assault with a deadly weapon suspect who is on the run after he cut off his court-ordered electronic monitor Monday.
According to CMPD, Tony Greaves, 25, was last known to be in the 4800 block of Mayberry Lane in Charlotte on Aug. 20.
Greaves was ordered to wear the electronic device as a condition of his pre-trial release. He is wanted for felony assault with a deadly weapon serious injury, and attempted common law robbery, and now faces additional charges of damage to property and interference with an electronic monitoring device.

He is described as 5-foot, 8-inches tall and about 145 pounds.
CMPD ask that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Greaves call the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3 or call 911.
