Novant Health's economic impact hits $4.33B as Cape Fear population surges (wect.com) — Novant Health's Coastal Region, centered around Wilmington, now generates an estimated $4.33 billion in annual economic output, reflecting rapid growth and heavy healthcare demand in the Cape Fear area. A UNC Wilmington economist links this surge to an aging, fast-growing population, while Novant leaders outline major new investments and jobs, especially in nearby Brunswick County, to keep services and hospital capacity ahead of local growth.
   

4. Declaration of Dependence Tour Visits New Haven, Conn., Home of Yale (billygraham.org) — An evangelistic Declaration of Dependence Tour led by Will Graham is traveling the East Coast and has already drawn crowds in New England. After recent stops in cities like New Haven, the tour is scheduled to visit Wilmington in October, bringing worship, preaching, and prayer focused on community and personal renewal.
