Local crews are struggling for jobs, while state leaders, including the governor, are debating how to keep film projects and investment in Wilmington and across North Carolina.
3. Three charged in connection with fatal shooting of 14-year-old in Wilmington (wwaytv3.com) — Wilmington police have charged three people in connection with the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy near South Fifth Avenue and Dawson Street earlier this month. Two men face first-degree murder and armed robbery charges, while a third person is accused of being an accessory after the fact as the homicide investigation continues.
