1. Eight-Month investigation leads to Moorhead drug bust (valleynewslive.com) — An eight-month investigation into drug trafficking in the Fargo-Moorhead area has led to multiple serious charges against a Moorhead man and a Wisconsin man, with Fargo police assisting in building the case. Officers say the operation involved large quantities of narcotics, prior convictions in Cass County, and searches that uncovered drugs, a sawed-off shotgun, and children present in one apartment, underscoring ongoing local efforts to disrupt dealers.
2. August 20: Fargo Society snippets from the Wisconsin Afro-American, 1892 (prairiepublic.org) — Step back into 1890s Fargo, where Black residents ran dress shops on N.P. 4.
