• North Dakota Brothers Charged with Class B Felony in Armed Robbery of Private Poker Game (sccgmanagement.com) — Two brothers from Fargo and West Fargo are charged in Cass County with Class B felony armed robbery after an invite-only poker game in Fargo was held up at gunpoint and $2,500 was stolen. Investigators tied them to a distinctive pickup, recovered phones, and incriminating texts with a former dealer, while both remain jailed as the case moves forward.
   

• Golden Drive kicks off annual sock drive (valleynewslive.com) — A major community sock drive based in Fargo is underway again, with organizers hoping to beat last year's 46,000-plus pairs donated for local people in need. Golden Drive is using QR codes and local collection boxes, with every contribution staying in the Fargo–West Fargo area thanks to donated space from the West Fargo Rural Department and strong support from residents and businesses.
   

• South Korean Barley Buyers Explore U.S. Supply Opportunities (grainjournal.com) — International barley buyers from South Korea recently kicked off a U.S. trade tour in Fargo, hearing from the North Dakota Barley Council and visiting Valley Grain Milling to see local processing firsthand. With tariffs set to expire in 2027, the visit aimed to position Fargo-area and other U.S. growers as reliable, high‑quality suppliers for Korea's food barley market and future export growth.
