The partnership keeps training within the Fargo-Moorhead community, boosts military readiness, and could create a pipeline of highly trained, military-affiliated clinicians caring for local patients.

2. Fargo health officer raises concerns over measles and vaccination rates (am1100theflag.com) — Fargo Cass Public Health's new health officer, former mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney, is warning residents about rising measles cases and lagging vaccination rates in Cass County. 3. Fargo Cass Public Health reports first increase in Hepatitis C cases in years (am1100theflag.com) — Fargo Cass Public Health is warning that hepatitis C cases rose in Fargo and Cass County in 2025 after several years of sharp declines tied to syringe services programs. Local health leaders plan to strongly defend those programs in the upcoming legislative session, arguing they save lives and money and are key to preventing further spread of blood-borne diseases among people who inject drugs.

4. Cars stranded, bar customers trapped during 32nd Avenue flood (valleynewslive.com) — Flash flooding on Fargo's 32nd Avenue recently stranded several cars and briefly trapped bar customers, raising concerns about a road that was just rebuilt. City engineers say a rope jammed a stormwater pump, and they're promising closer monitoring while urging residents to keep nearby storm drains clear of leaves and debris before heavy rains.

5. NDSU celebrates ribbon cutting and dedication of Richard Offerdahl '65 Engineering Complex (kfgo.com) — North Dakota State University in Fargo has opened its nearly $100 million Richard Offerdahl '65 Engineering Complex, giving engineering students 286,000 square feet of new classrooms, labs, and project space.
