The City of Fargo will host a ribbon cutting for its first electric vehicle (EV) charger on Thursday, December 2 at 9 a.m. at Fargo City Hall, 225 4th St N., in the West Side Lot V3. Fargo Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney and Xcel Energy North Dakota Principal Manager Tony Grindberg will provide comments before the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors initiate a ribbon cutting to dedicate the EV charger. The Fargo Sustainability and Resiliency Committee will assist in the dedication. The City of Fargo collaborated with Xcel Energy to complete this grant-funded project. The EV charger will supply electrical power for charging plug-in electric vehicles, including hybrids cars and trucks.
