City Of Fargo: The City Of Fargo Seeking Statements Of Interest To Serve On The Election & Governance Task Force

The City of Fargo is now accepting statements of interest to volunteer on the Election & Governance Task Force. The Task Force is intended to review local governance topics such as commission versus council format, ward systems, the number of commissioners, term limits and similar topics. Statements of interest will be accepted through November 24 and the Task Force will begin meeting in January of 2022. The Task Force is expected to meet twice monthly and conclude its work by the end of April 2022.

The makeup of the resident-driven Task Force is intended to be representative of the diversity of demographics, backgrounds and experiences of the Fargo community’s civically-engaged residents.
