Fargo Public Works Issues Snow Plowing Information For Winter Storm

The National Weather Service has advised that a significant winter storm is possible from Saturday morning through Monday morning.

From the City of Fargo: The National Weather Service has advised that a significant winter storm is possible from Saturday morning through 12 a.m. Monday morning for the Fargo area. Based on the forecast, Fargo Public Works expects the heaviest snow accumulations will occur during Sunday daytime hours.

Due to the timing of this event, residential street plowing may not begin until Sunday evening. Residents are asked to move all vehicles from streets to afford snow removal equipment operators the ability to navigate through areas in a safe and efficient manner.

It is anticipated that travel could be impacted by this event, depending on snow accumulation and wind impacts. For safety reasons, please give snow removal equipment as much room as possible and be patient as crews work diligently to clear the roadways.
