Coronavirus In Ohio: 1,104 New Cases, 37 Deaths
Nearly 90 Ohioans were admitted to hospitals for COVID-19 treatment.
COLUMBUS, OH — Several key COVID-19 metrics show signs of slowing in Ohio, according to state health department data.
In the past 24 hours, 1,104 Ohioans have contracted COVID-19, the Ohio Department of Health announced. Over the past three weeks, Ohio has averaged nearly 1,300 new COVID-19 cases per day.
The state has also averaged nearly 100 new COVID-19-related hospitalizations per day. On Monday, 86 people were admitted to hospitals for COVID-19 treatment.

While new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations slowed Monday, deaths and intensive care admissions were up. At least 37 Ohioans died from complications caused by COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Twenty-two Ohioans were admitted to intensive care units because of the virus.
