Coronavirus In Ohio: 1,105 Cases, 37 Deaths Reported Tuesday

In the past 24 hours, officials have confirmed 37 Ohioans have died due to COVID-19.

COLUMBUS, OH — In the past 24 hours, Ohio has confirmed 37 new deaths related to COVID-19.

Since the start of the pandemic, 4,783 Ohioans have died because of complications caused by COVID-19. Over the past three weeks, the state has averaged 23 COVID-19-related deaths per day.

All of Ohio's key COVID-19 metrics trended up on Tuesday.

Over the past three weeks, Ohio has averaged 996 new COVID-19 cases per day. On Tuesday, health officials confirmed 1,105 new cases of the virus among Ohioans.
