Coronavirus In Ohio: 1,122 New Cases, 22 Deaths

Ohio saw a small jump in new COVID-19 cases on Thursday.

COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio saw a small jump in newly reported COVID-19 cases on Thursday.

After nearly a week of confirming fewer than 1,000 new cases per day, health officials confirmed 1,122 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Since the start of the pandemic, more than 110,000 cases have been confirmed among Ohioans.

Twenty-two Ohioans died from COVID-19 complications on Thursday, the Ohio Department of Health confirmed. More than 3,900 Ohioans have died due to complications caused by the virus.
