Coronavirus In Ohio: 1,444 New Cases, 21 Deaths

In the past 24 hours, more than 100 Ohioans were again hospitalized due to COVID-19.

COLUMBUS, OH — More than 1,400 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the past 24 hours, health officials announced.

The Ohio Department of Health announced 1,444 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the past 24 hours. Over the past three weeks, Ohio has been adding 1,200 new COVID-19 cases per day.

More than 100 Ohioans were also admitted to hospitals due to COVID-19, the health department said. This continues a surge in hospitalizations related to the virus.
