COLUMBUS, OH — Health officials confirmed another 428 positive cases of COVID-19 among Ohioans on Monday. Since the start of the outbreak, at least 41,576 Ohioans have tested positive for the virus.

Over the past 24 hours, 16 people died due to complications caused by COVID-19. Since the pandemic began, 2,573 Ohioans have died because of the virus.

At least 53 people were hospitalized Monday due to COVID-19, and 14 people were admitted to intensive care with symptoms of the virus.

Ohio saw a slight dip in all of its key COVID-19 metrics on Monday, according to data tracked by the Ohio Department of Health.
