Coronavirus In Ohio: New Cases, Deaths Hold Steady

While Ohio again confirmed more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases in a day, the cases do not appear to be surging.

COLUMBUS, OH — Many of the key COVID-19 metrics monitored by health officials are holding steady in Ohio.

Over the past 24 hours, 1,131 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed among Ohioans. That's level with the state's three-week averaged of 1,181 new cases per day.

Twenty-nine Ohioans have died from COVID-19 complications in the past 24 hours, nearly level with the state's three-week average of 23 deaths per day.

Hospitalizations (105 confirmed Friday) and ICU admissions (12 confirmed Friday) are also holding level with three-week averages in Ohio.
