Couple Has Sex In Front Of Kids On Giant Wheel At Cedar Point: Report

SANDUSKY, OH — A couple was arrested Sunday after witnesses told police they saw the couple having sex on the Giant Wheel at Cedar Point, according to reports.

David Davis, 32, of Florida, and Heather Johnston, 32, of Ohio, were each charged with public indecency. They also received a first-degree misdemeanor since police said the incident happened in front of children.

Both were taken to the Erie County Jail and could face up to 180 days there.

Police said four other riders (two minors) on the Giant Wheel saw Davis and Johnston having sex in another cart around 8:30 p.m. Witnesses told police they saw the couple's genitals and the cart shaking, reports said.

Police said the couple knew other riders on the Ferris wheel saw them having sex in the cart, but continued to do so while laughing.

The couple initially denied having sex in the cart on the Ferris wheel, telling police Johnston was picking up a pack of cigarettes, reports said. However, police said the couple admitted having sex in the cart when they learned two young girls saw them.
