Free COVID-19 Testing In Northeast Ohio

The Ohio Department of Health is hosting two free testing clinics in Northeast Ohio this week.

ROOTSTOWN, OH — The Ohio Department of Health is hosting COVID-19 pop-up testing sites in Alliance and Rootstown this week. All testing is free at the sites.

Pop-up testing will be held July 21 through July 25. Anyone can get a free test at the state health department's clinics. No appointment or referral is needed, though tests are limited.

In Rootstown, testing will be done at Northeast Ohio Medical University, in campus parking lot B, 4209 State Route 44.

Testing will be available on the following dates and times in Rootstown:

  • July 21, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
  • July 23, 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • July 25, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

In Alliance, the clinic will be held at College Plaza Location, 1150 E. State Street. Testing will only be available on Tuesday, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

While the Ohio Department of Health hasn't yet announced testing clinics in Cuyahoga County, there are plenty of sites where residents can get a COVID-19 test. The state tracks all testing sites in the state, and sites in Cuyahoga County can be found on the health department's website.
