TOLEDO, OHIO — Multiple people were shot near a Toledo festival Saturday, police said.
According to the Toledo Police Department, the incident took place at about 5:37 p.m.
Toledo police officers responded to a report of a person shot in the area of Delaware Avenue and Glenwood Avenue near the Old West End Festival, police said.

Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple shooting victims, police said.

The Toledo Police Department said it is is actively searching for the suspect or suspects involved.
As of Saturday night, the investigation includes scenes in the area of Delaware Avenue and Robinwood Avenue, police said.
Residents and visitors are asked to avoid the area and expect a significant police presence as officers continue their search and investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, police said.
