New Coronavirus Cases Begin To Slow In Ohio

For the third straight day, Ohio confirmed less COVID-19 cases than it has averaged over the past three weeks.

COLUMBUS, OH — For the third day in a row, Ohio's COVID-19 numbers are below their three-week average.

In the past 24 hours, officials have confirmed 932 new COVID-19 cases among Ohioans. That's down versus the three-week average of nearly 1,300 new COVID-19 cases per day. Since the beginning of the outbreak, nearly 94,000 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Ohio.

Over the past 24 hours, 10 Ohioans died due to COVID-19 complications, the Ohio Department of Health confirmed Monday. More than 3,500 Ohioans have died due to complications caused by the virus.
