New Coronavirus Cases, Deaths Down In Ohio
Health officials confirmed fewer than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases among Ohioans.

COLUMBUS, OH — New coronavirus cases, deaths and hospitalizations were down in Ohio in the past 24 hours.
Over the past three weeks, Ohio has averaged more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases per day. On Monday, the Ohio Department of Health confirmed 849 new cases.
Deaths and hospitalizations related to the virus were also down on Monday.

Over the past three weeks, Ohio has averaged 21 COVID-19-related deaths per day, along with nearly 90 COVID-19-related hospitalizations per day.

On Monday, eight people died from complications caused by the virus. Fifty-nine Ohioans entered hospitals for COVID-19 treatment, the state health department confirmed.
Here are all of Monday's COVID-19 numbers:
- New cases: 849
- New deaths: 8
- New hospitalizations: 59
- New ICU admissions: 10
