1 Dead After Lorain Club Shooting

A 23-year-old was shot multiple times on Sunday morning. He later died at Mercy Regional.

LORAIN, OH — A 23-year-old man was shot to death outside of a Lorain nightclub on Sunday morning, according to reports.

Andre Hines was shot several times and died after being rushed to Mercy Regional Medical Center, according to cleveland.com. Hines was one of two men that were shot. The other shooting victim has been released from the hospital.

The shooting happened in the 2800 block of Apple Avenue. The incident happened at about 2:20 a.m. A gunman opened fire on Hines and the other man while they were walking down an alley.

Lorain Police happened to be in the area and rendered first aid to Hines while an ambulance came to the scene.

Police are looking for the suspect and anyone with information is asked to call Lorain Police at 440-204-2100.
