3 Boys & Girls Clubs Reopen In Lorain County
Clubs in Wellington and Elyria will host students.
ELYRIA, OH — Three Boys & Girls Clubs will reopen in Lorain County.
The reopening clubs are "traditional" Boys & Girls Clubs locations, offering safe places for kids to go after school. The organization has also launched ClubSmart Learning Centers to help students in remote-education settings during the school day.
Two clubs in Wellington and one in Elyria will begin reopening this month. The clubs are at Westwood Elementary and McCormick Middle School in Wellington and at Elyria's Crestwood Elementary.

The Wellington clubs reopening on Monday. The Crestwood club will reopen Sept. 21. All three clubs have been closed since March because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Westwood club, there will be a morning cohort which starts after lunch at 11:30 a.m. An afternoon cohort runs from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. If there is enough space and availability, morning students can stay till 6:30 p.m.

McMormick Middle School's club is open from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Crestwood will open at 2:45 p.m. and run until 6:30 p.m. The school and club are closed Wednesdays. Families can apply for a spot online.
