3 Women Fist Fight Inside Avon Lake Home

AVON LAKE, OH — Avon Lake Dispatch got several calls from a Lakewood Drive residence on April 22. When dispatchers would answer the phone, no one would talk, the line would simply be silent. So Avon Lake Police were sent to investigate.

Police went to the home on Lake Drive at about 5:40 p.m.. When they arrived they discovered there had been a fist fight between three people inside the house.

Two female roommates, and one of the roommate's sisters, took part in the brawl. No one suffered serious injuries, but there were minor pains inflicted on each person. All three women declined medical attention while police were there.

Two of the fighters are 21-years-old. The sister that got involved is 16-years-old.

One roommate and her sister agreed to leave the house and cool off. They said they would spend the night somewhere else. The other roommate stayed at the house.

The Avon Lake city prosecutor will decide whether or not charges should be filed in the case. For now, the incident has been described as a "disturbance" by Avon Lake Police.
