50 Homes Without Power In Avon Lake
A tree limb brought down power lines and damaged a utility pole Sunday night. Now the Illuminating Company must replace the pole.

AVON LAKE, OH — About 50 homes in Avon Lake, on Norman Avenue, are without power Monday morning. A tree limb came down at the corner of Norman and Gedeohn Avenue on Sunday night, bringing power lines down and damaging a utility pole. Electrical service to the area has been shut off so pole replacement can be conducted safely.
Avon Lake Police say the Illuminating Company is on scene. The intersection of Norman and Gedeohn will be closed while the replacement pole is installed.
Both Avon Lake Police and the Illuminating Company estimate that some 50 homes are without power on Norman, south of Gedeohn.
