Accused Drug Trafficker Arrested In Avon Lake

Police said they arrested a man on Lear Road after the Lorain County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant.

AVON LAKE, OH — An accused drug trafficker was arrested in Avon Lake last Friday. The man was taken into custody after a warrant was issued in his name by the Lorain County Sheriff's Office.

Police records indicate that the 29-year-old Lear Road resident was arrested on November 16, at 8:40 in the morning. He was wanted for trafficking in drugs, including Schedule I and II narcotics.

Schedule I narcotics include substances like heroin, LSD, marijuana, ecstasy and peyote. Schedule II narcotics include cocaine, Vicodin, fentanyl, and Adderall, according to the Drug Enforcement Agency.

The suspect was booked into Lorain County Jail on November 20. He has a court date in Avon Lake Municipal Court on November 27. His bond was set at $15,000, according to the Lorain Couny Sheriff's Office.
