
Anna A. Parks (nee Osterman), 97 of Avon Lake formerly of Pittsburgh, passed awayΒ Friday, Sept. 27, 2013Β at home following complications of congestive heart failure.Β Β
Mrs. Parks was born Feb. 13, 1916 inΒ PittsburghΒ and had lived inΒ AvonΒ LakeΒ the past 57 years. She was both a licensed cosmetologist and licensed practical nurse but her primary role was that of homemaker.Β
Anna was a member ofΒ St. JosephΒ Church, the churchβs choir and ladies guild.Β She was also a member of the Avon Lake Womenβs Chorus.Β In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, golf and travel.Β She also would express her creativity by painting.

Anna is survived by children Ruth Ann Kaswell of San Antonio TX, Eileen Wozniak (Donald) of Avon Lake, George Parks, Jr. (Sandra β dec.) of Milan, MI, Janet Motta of Avon Lake and Nancy Inman of Mentor.Β Other survivors include 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.Β She was preceded in death by her husband George C. Parks in 1994, parents Edward and Anna (nee Harold) Osterman, siblings Edward, Herb, Mildred Lowe and Virginia Smarsh and two grandsons.Β
Friends may for call from 10 a.m.Β until the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Rd.,Β AvonΒ Lake,Β Monday, Sept. Β 30 at 11 a.m.Β Fr.
