Arthur W. Adams, 88 of Avon Lake passed away Feb. 16 following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Adams was born Aug. 10, 1923 in Cleveland. After high school he joined the Navy. A WWII veteran, he served on the USS Yorktown during the Battle of Midway.
He is survived by his children, Linda (Tom) Myer and Cheryl Liptak; seven grandchildren, many great grandchildren; and companion Betty Gorham. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita (nee Hindt); his parents and sister.
