Avon Athletic Director Recognized For Service

Erich Frombach has been with the Avon Schools since 2006. In April, he'll receive an award honoring his efforts supporting athletics.

AVON, OH β€” Avon Schools Athletic Director Erich Frombach recently took home an award for his professionalism and qualities as a role model.

The Northeast Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NEOIAAA) named Frombach the 2019 NEOIAAA Meritorious Service Award winner. The award recognizes Frombach's contributions, leadership and service to interscholastic athletics in Ohio.

Frombach has been with the Avon Schools, as the athletic director, since 2006. Before coming to Avon, he was the athletic director and assistant principal at Amherst Marion L. Steel High School.

Frombach will receive his award on April 7, at the NEOIAAA Annual Awards Banquet in Cuyahoga Falls.

The NEOIAAA Executive Committee recognizes athletic administrators, and other professionals, that have contributed to interscholastic athletics in Northeast Ohio. The recipients of the awards are usually nominated by association members and winners are then selected by the NEOIAAA Awards Committee.
