1. According to The Morning Journals article, "the Avon-Avon Lake Republican Club Friends Breakfast will take place from 8-9 a.m., July 6, at Sugar Creek Restaurant, according to a news release. Paul Baumgartner, executive director of Lorain County Free Clinic, will speak about this volunteer-based clinic that provides a wide range of medical services to those patients falling through the gaps in the health care system, the release stated. The clinic also helps relieve the burden of uninsured patients on emergency rooms. Participate every first Wednesday in a free exchange of ideas about current positions with like-minded and concerned folks, the released stated." (The Morning Journal)
