Avon Choir and Drama Boosters Hold Chili Sing Fundraiser

From Avon Local Schools: Join the Avon Local Schools Choir program for its 3rd d annual chili cook-off fundraiser. All proceeds raised during the event will go directly towards lowering the cost of future choir trips as well as providing funds to enrich the education of all of our choir students grades three through twelve. During our chili cook-off event, all of the Avon Choirs will be performing a small set of music!

Do you make a chili that is one of a kind? How about Avon’s best chili? Are you competitive? Do you enjoy cooking? Enter this year’s chili cook-off to support the AHS, AMS, and Heritage choirs! Attendants of the event will vote on their favorite chili and the person with the most votes will take home the coveted Sing Chili Trophy.

Participant Entry Fee: $25; Participants are required to provide their own crock pot, extension cord, and serving spoon

General Admission: $5; Even if you don’t have a chili to enter, come enjoy the delicious chili, socialize, and listen to Avon Choirs! Pre-sale tickets will be available to purchase from Mr. Jarufe and will also be sold at the door. Each attendee will be provided with three tickets to vote for their favorite chili. Make sure you try them all!

Featured Performers: Come and hear great music performed by the Heritage Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grade children’s chorus, Avon Middle School Choirs, and Avon High School Choirs!

Bake Sale: There will also be a bake sale for those of you with a sweet tooth!
