She told Cleveland.com:
"The night I was appointed, the morning I submitted my resignation and everything in between," she told Cleveland.com. "It has truly been a gift. I'll miss a lot. I'll miss my daughters, my grandson and my friends while I'm gone. As far as city hall goes, I'll miss everyone here; especially the assistant clerk of council and my dear friend, Gail Hayden. I'll miss the energy, the different personalities and all of the changes taking place. This is an exciting time for the City of Avon and I've enjoyed being a part of that. It's not going to be easy to leave any bit of it. I won't miss controversial times, though."
