Avon Cop Fired Following Alleged Incident At Casino
Officer James Cline is accused of punching a security guard. He had been on administrative leave since April.

AVON, OH — Avon Police Officer James Cline has reportedly been fired after he was accused of punching a security guard at the JACK Cleveland Casino. Cline had been on administrative leave since April 11, 2018.
Cline, 30, was allegedly seen trying to look up a waitress' skirt, prompting a security guard to ask the 30-year-old to leave the casino. The off-duty Avon officer then reportedly took a drink of beer and spit it in the face of the security guard.
The security guard then allegedly walked Cline to the facility's elevators. Then the off-duty cop punched the guard in the face. A fight ensued and an off-duty Cleveland police officer eventually intervened and arrested Cline, cleveland.com said.
