AVON, OH β€” Avon High School has announced its fall play, a production of "WYRD SISTERS." Performances will take place November 22 through November 24.

The play is the family-friendly story of three witches. The trio live on a flat, disc-shaped world called Discworld, where magic is real. Once you've settled into the world, everything will be turned upside down, according to the district's description of the play: "And when Duke Felmet of Lancre murders King Verence and steals the throne, and Verence’s infant son, the true heir, is delivered to a local coven of three witches, it’s up to Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick to set things right."

Two performances of "WYRD SISTERS" will be held November 22 and November 23 at 7 p.m. at Avon High School. A matinee performance will be held November 24 at 2 p.m. at the high school.
