AVON, OH — A family-friendly production of "WYRD SISTERS" is coming to Avon High School this weekend. The school's drama club will debut the production on November 22 at 7 p.m.

Here's how a school spokesperson described the play: "On a flat, disc-shaped world called, appropriately enough, Discworld, magic is real. Witches are real. And when Duke Felmet of Lancre murders King Verence and steals the throne, and Verence’s infant son, the true heir, is delivered to a local coven of three witches, it’s up to Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick to set things right."

The show will debut November 22 at 7 p.m. at Avon High School, 37545 Detroit Road. A second show will be held at 7 p.m. on November 23, and a matinee will be held at 2 p.m on November 24.
