Avon Lake Easter Event Mixes Bunnies With Child Safety

The event will feature Easter bunnies, egg hunts, martial arts demonstrations, finger printing, and an ice cream eating contest.

AVON LAKE, OH - Safety of children is like insurance. It's one of those things that parents don't always want to think about. It's a crucial, necessary aspect of raising kids, but one we'd rather back burner.

However, the North Coast Rotary Club and Jeff Ellis' International Karate Centers are sponsoring a fun event the mixes safety and Easter antics. On April 2, at the Troy Intermediate School, 237 Belmar Blvd., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. there will be mini-clinics and safety topics for parents and children alike.

The schedule of events includes finger printing ID kits, pictures with the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt, a stranger danger clinic, and a bullyproofing your child, martial arts demonstration. There will also be ice cream eating events and inflatables for children.
