The Avon Lake Fire Department will begin testing and inspecting fire hydrants this week by flushing the water from them. This testing will go across the city from east to west and will last until September.The department will post signs at intersections near homes on streets due to have their hydrants flushed. They also advise inspecting your water for any discoloration.
