Avon Lake Garage Fire Injures Dog, Causes $75,000 in Damages

An early morning garage fire on May 29 caused between $75,000 and $90,000 in damages. The fire, at 263 Avon Belden Rd. was reported at 6:24 a.m. It caused significant damages, but no individuals were injured.

Avon Lake Firefighter Eric Wagner said a small dog was rescued from the building and was being treated for heat exposure.
