Avon Lake High Art Students Bring Home Bevy Of Awards
The district has nine students that are advancing to national competition in New York City after a regional art competition.
AVON LAKE, OH — Avon Lake students won a bevy of awards at the annual Lorain County Regional Scholastic Art Exhibition. The Gold Key winners will move directly to the national juried show in New York City.
The student artwork will be part of an exhibit hosted at the Stocker Center gallery on the campus of Lorain County Community College. The exhibit will be on display now through Feb. 22 and is open to the public.
Avon Lake High has nine students that took home Gold Key recognition from the regional competition. Two of the students, Nathan Peachman and Liam Mealey, both claimed multiple Gold Keys.
