Avon Lake High School Starting Bowling Team
This will be the school's first ever varsity bowling team. The season starts November 7.

AVON LAKE, OH - For the first time in school history, Avon Lake will have a varsity bowling team.
The team will compete in the North Shore Conference against familiar foes like North Olmsted, Midview, and North Ridgeville. The Shoremen's bowling squad will also compete in the OHSAA State Bowling Tournament at the end of the season.
Unlike some other sports, OHSAA does not determine who and when a varsity bowling squad plays. Instead, the organization caps the number of matches a team may play during the course of a season at 24.
