Avon Lake Home Broken Into, Ransacked
A home on Wildberry Circle had its side door kicked in and jewelry, cash, prescription medication, and handguns were stolen.
AVON LAKE, OH - Coming home to a ransacked house is a terrible way to conclude an out-of-state trip. However, a pillaged home was exactly what greeted a Wildberry Circle couple when they came back to Avon Lake.
Avon Lake Police say the couple's house was broken into sometime before March 25, when the couple returned home. The side door the couple's house had been damaged and police believe the thief or thieves may have kicked the door in.
The homeowners said that cash, jewelry, prescription medication, and three handguns were reported missing from the home. Officers have processed the house for evidence.

Police are currently questioning neighbors to see if there was any sign of a suspicion person or vehicle that may have been casing the residence in the past few days.
