Avon Lake Memorial Stadium Partly Closed To Public

The stadium's track and bleachers will be closed to the public for several weeks as crews work on the facility.

AVON LAKE, OH — Over the next several weeks, as the Avon Lake Schools work on its facilities, the district's Memorial Stadium, 175 Avon Belden Rd., will be partly inaccessible to the public. Construction on the facility began June 5 and is expected to last until mid-August.

The district says that throughout the summer, construction vehicles and crews will be working in the area. That process will impact parts of the parking lot near the stadium. Additionally, the track and bleachers within the stadium will be closed to the public.

"We apologize for any inconveniences," a district spokesperson said in a statement. "Please use caution when visiting this area near the high school. The district appreciates the community’s continued support."
